According to the report of public relations and international affairs, Dr.Seyed Javad Hosseini, deputy minister and head of State welfare organization, on the first day of the new year, attended the center for the elderly of Hazrat Maryam (pbuh), while congratulating the elderly residents of the center appreciated from the center's agents and helpers.
He stated that around 25,000 elderly people in the country receive services in 557 centers for the elderly in the field of overnight, daily and home care and added: 7 centers in the country provide services to our dear Christian elderly, 5 of which are located in Tehran and this center is one of the good centers providing services to the elderly.
In this meeting, Nora Ishoui, director of Hazrat Maryam Center for the Elderly, stated that the head of the welfare organization is like the father of the center's clients and said: she appreciated the efforts of the welfare organization to provide service and support to these centers.
The head of the welfare organization emphasized on solving the problems of these centers and said that necessary support will be provided to solve the problems in order to improve the quality of services in these centers.
