More than 90 percent of the SWO services are provided in partnership with NGOs

Referring to the prominent role of popular and voluntary institutions in providing social services, the head of the Welfare Organization said: "The Welfare Organization is the only institution in the country that provides more than 90 percent of its services with the participation of the non-governmental sector."

Seyed Javad Hosseini, head of the State Welfare Organization, referred to the key role of non-governmental organizations in providing social services and said: "Currently, more than 20,000 non-governmental organizations cooperate with the Welfare Organization, and it can be said that the only organization where more than 90 percent of its services are provided by the non-governmental sector is the Welfare Organization." Referring to the breadth of the organization's services, the head of the Welfare Organization said: "We currently have 23,000 centers under our coverage and 17,000 employees. To strengthen supervision, we have planned to form a parent and teacher association in each center with the presence of representatives from relevant agencies so that supervision can be carried out in a participatory manner and from within the centers themselves." The head of the Welfare Organization emphasized: "In all neighborhoods of the country, we intend to use the capacity of organizations to develop social services. This will empower neighborhoods, form social harmony, increase public trust, and promote social vitality." He concluded by saying: "With the aim of removing obstacles to the activities of popular organizations, we decided to form a working group to facilitate and remove obstacles in the government sphere, focusing on supporting these organizations."
