Implementation of more than 13 special projects in Semnan province this year

According to the Public Relations Department of the General Welfare Department of Semnan Province, in a cordial meeting held at the office of the Semnan Governor, Dr. Seyed Javad Hosseini, Head of the National Welfare Organization, stated that the Welfare Organization is one of the most trusted institutions in the country and explained the wide range of services provided by this organization. Referring to the direct target population of the Welfare Organization, which is over 30,000 people in Semnan Province, he added: While our specialized services are provided to 10 percent of the country's population, public services such as counseling, genetics, prevention, and social emergency cover all Iranians. Emphasizing the organization's role in crises, Dr. Hosseini said: During the 12-day war, the Social Emergency Department of the Welfare Organization was the first institution to be deployed in the affected areas after the Red Crescent. He also announced the 24/7 operation of the 1480 and 123 systems, the existence of more than 3,000 psychological counseling offices, 800 genetic centers, and 10,000 charitable institutions in the country, and added: "We immediately establish service subsidies after issuing a license; unlike other organizations that only issue licenses." In another part of his speech, Dr. Hosseini referred to Semnan province's special programs and said: creating 400 job opportunities for clients, building a solar energy plant with 600 shareholders from the target community, providing 220 housing units with the aim of increasing to 300 units, providing a commodity subsidy for counseling and dowry for couples with disabilities, and implementing several special projects for the elderly in the provincial elderly council are among the programs. Referring to the importance of social health, he said: The World Health Organization has announced the share of social health as 80 percent, but its support structures are much less developed than biological health. Dr. Hosseini, emphasizing the need for the socialization of the welfare organization and the development of public participation, announced the development of 12 national strategies for the social participation ecosystem and announced the organization's full readiness to cooperate with the Semnan Governorate. In a meeting with the Deputy Minister and Head of the Welfare Organization, the Semnan Governor also emphasized the need to strengthen the authority of provincial managers and a hopeful outlook on social issues, referring to the cultural, religious, and family characteristics of the province.
