Message from the Head of SWO on the Occasion of Organizations and Social Participation Day

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department, the text of this message is as follows:

August 12, as the Day of Organizations and Social Participation, is an excuse to honor the social role of institutions, organizations, associations, and popular and non-governmental groups.

The SWO is a leading organization in the field of participation and development of social organizations and institutions. More than 4,000 public and non-governmental organizations and institutions undertake a major part of the organization's activities, and this social organization has the honor of organizing more than 90 percent of its activities with the participation of organizations and institutions.

Organizations and Social Participation Day can be a new outbreak every year to honor and appreciate social partners in welfare who play a role in various areas of social health, rehabilitation, and prevention of social harms.

In addition to appreciation and celebration, such a day can be a reminder to develop synergy between government agencies and popular and non-governmental organizations. Considering the increasing importance of the position of organizations in the country's social sphere, we at the State Welfare Organization have tried to pursue the development of social participation in the form of 12 basic axes including geographical, stratified, quantitative, qualitative, thematic development, empowerment, interaction regulations, social officials, volunteer network, networking, branding, and facilitating the issuance of licenses.

In this important path, we will benefit most from the capacity of organizations and institutions to develop partnerships.

Finally, I hope that through extensive and systematic interaction and synergy, we can facilitate the social participation of popular and non-governmental organizations and, in this path, develop and strengthen the ungrateful service to the esteemed target community of the Welfare Organization.
