According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Center of the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, Ahmad Maidari commemorated the martyrs of the recent imposed war in the simultaneous inauguration ceremony of 10,569 projects of the Welfare Organization.
He honored the martyrdom of Faramerz Hazrati, one of the Welfare Organization's colleagues who was martyred in the twelve-day imposed war, and said: "He had returned to his workplace to check on things during the bombing, and this responsibility and compassion is a model for us."
Maidari, emphasizing the multiplicity of activities of the Welfare Organization, called for greater convergence between governmental and popular institutions in providing services to the organization's target community.
Referring to the history of the establishment of the Welfare Organization in 1970 and the role of "Martyr Fayyaz Bakhsh" in its formation, the Minister of Welfare stated: "The Welfare Organization provides a wide range of services, and over the past decades, the colleagues of this organization have worked in various fields with love and interest in social work." However, our target community still faces fundamental weaknesses in terms of service coverage.
Referring to some of the services provided, such as housing construction for people with disabilities and social insurance, the Minister of Welfare stated: “These services are being provided; we face challenges in the two areas of comprehensiveness and adequacy of services, and we must seriously consider addressing these shortcomings.”
