In the Name of Allah
As Nowruz arrives, this ancient celebration of renewal, hope, and unity among nations, I extend my warmest greetings for the Solar Hijri year 1405 to people across the world.
Nowruz reminds us of the enduring values of peace, understanding, and respect for human dignity. Yet this year, as we mark this occasion, the effects of violence caused by the imposed war by the United States and Israel against our country, Iran, continue to impact many lives, especially the most vulnerable members of our society.
In recent events, our leader, a number of our commanders, persons with disabilities, children, women, and other members of our society have been martyred, and many homes have been damaged or destroyed. Residents of several care centers for children, the elderly, women without guardians, and persons with disabilities have also been forced to relocate temporarily.
The Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirms its commitment to supporting persons with disabilities and to providing essential social and rehabilitation services, especially in times of crisis.
At the beginning of this New Year, we express our protest against these acts of violence and call upon the United Nations and the international community to increase efforts to reduce human suffering and to support vulnerable communities.
Nowruz reminds us that even after the hardest winters, spring returns.
May this New Year bring greater peace, stronger unity, and dignity for all.
Happy Nowruz and Happy New Year.
