We will robustly defend the rights of persons with disabilities on the international stage

The Public Relations Director of Iran’s Welfare Organization emphasized: "The Islamic Republic of Iran’s determination to defend and secure the rights of persons with disabilities is undeniable, and we will strongly advocate for the rights of this vulnerable group."

Saeed Khademi, PhD in an interview with Mizan, stated: "The esteemed head of the Welfare Organization and the delegation are traveling to New York to participate in the 18th annual Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s approach to the rights of persons with disabilities is duty-bound and responsible. The Welfare Organization has undertaken extensive and effective measures in this regard, possessing experience, innovation, and strategic objectives. The Welfare Organization is active across all regions of the country. The rights and entitlements of persons with disabilities are no different from others, and sustainable opportunities must be created for them to lead a dignified life. This is our great responsibility, which we will emphasize through concrete examples at the New York conference."

The Public Relations Director of the Welfare Organization further asserted: "Our dignified and responsible approach toward persons with disabilities stems from religious and ethical teachings and is among our country’s most significant social responsibility concerns. Not only do we have valuable experiences in this regard, but we are also ready to share these experiences with other countries to support global advocacy for persons with disabilities."
