Narjes Assadi, about the condition of female-headed households said that; at present time around 278000 of this target community are under coverage of SWO. Around 69% of this target community live in urban areas and 31% of them live in rural areas and there isn’t any discrimination to render services to them, she added.
Elsewhere she mentioned that, the department of empowerment of families and women of SWO, with a comprehensive and scientific approach draw more attention to the whole economic, social and cultural dimensions of female-of households and has taken effectively action so far. She stated that in fact empowerment is one of main plan of state welfare organization for rendering services and the whole of supportive plans including occupational preparation, payment of working capital, launching team work group, paying social insurance of urban and local women, paying academic allowances of their children being implemented with same goal.
