Iran’s delegation of ministers at the proposal of the ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare approved and announced the statute of the Fund for Supporting Job Opportunities for People with Disabilities on January 26. It should be noted that the main details of this statute are as follows:
1)In order to create, develop and strengthen employment and entrepreneurship and support the job opportunities of people with disabilities, the Fund for Support of Job Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities is established and managed under the coverage of the Welfare Organization.
2) The main center of the fund is in Tehran, which is managed with a budget allocated in SWO.
Also the duties and tasks of the fund are as follows:
3) Granting self-employment facilities
4) Supporting the entrepreneurs in order to empower and create jobs for people with disabilities
5) Financial assistance to create employment infrastructure for people with disabilities.
