SWO and IRCS inked a MOU to extend bilateral cooperation

State welfare organization and Iran's red crescent society to extend bilateral cooperation inked a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday,22 December.,

During a ceremony in presence with head of SWO, Dr.Ghobadidana and Head of Iranian Red Crescent Society, Dr.Hemati was inked a MOU to extend bilateral cooperation in different areas. At the beginning of this ceremony Head of SWO reiterated that in the structure of the comprehensive system of welfare and social security Act explicitly has been accentuated on the role of SWO in rehabilitation and social affairs and IRCS in relief areas, hence closing relationship between two entities will lead to more synergistic to render better services for mutual target communities. Also he mentioned that SWO regarding its capacities in counseling centers with experience experts (Around 3000 centers) has these capabilities to help IRCS in different natural disasters.” One of common aims between two entities is attracting public participation and promotion of social responsibility across the country and this fact leads to increase the social capital in society “he stated”. Dr.Ghobadidana made remarks that for first time the living place of all SWO’s clients will be under coverage of GPS system during natural disasters  in which with taking preventive measures we can reduce humanitarian consequences caused by such events. Also he noted that IRCS as a great international NGO through its relation with ICRS has a remarkable place in society and the volunteers and young forces who are working in IRCS’s units can help SWO in different areas
