Take a look at his life as founder of SWO

Martyr Dr.Mohammad Ali Fayazbakhsh was born in 1937 in Tehran. He as a physician and the first head of State Welfare Organization of Iran and a member of the cabinet of Mohammad Ali Rajaei  was martyred in an accident bombing of the office of the Islamic Republic party on28th June 1980. He received his primary education at Khosravi Primary School in Tehran and his secondary education alongside seminary courses. After returning from military service, he went to the University of Tehran and graduated with a medical degree, then completed a specialized course in surgery at Sinai Hospital. Fayazbakhsh was the founder of the Imam Khomeini Relief Association, after a while He worked as the Director General of Rehabilitation at the Ministry of Health. Fayazbakhsh served in the cabinet of Mohammad Ali Rajaei as a consultant minister and Head of State Welfare Organization. He lost his life in a bombing accident by the Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) on the evening of June 28, 1981, while attending a meeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran Party. Proposing a bill for State welfare organization and pursuing the establishment of such an organization separately from the Ministry of Health was one of valuable act done by him.
