Deputy Minister and Head of state welfare organization released a message

On the occasion of World day of Down Syndrome Dr.Ghobadidana released a message as follows: "In the name of God" The first day of spring( equivalent with 21 march) is recognised as Worldday of Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome is a condition in which a child is born with an extra copy of their 21st chromosome-hence its other name,Trisomy 21.This difference has created some traits that such individuals are required more rehabilitation, educational and taking care services, as well as making relationship with these people is motivating both experts and families.SWO, based on its legal mission is considered as forerunner of service rendering to all persons with disabilities, and has this honour in collaboration with NGOs solve the issue of this target community. In this line SWO has established 281 daily educational rehabilitation centers, 287 training vocational centers, 131 supporting productive workshops,17 job supporting centers and tens of visit at home centers around the country. State welfare organisation of Iran congratulates this day to all families, take cares and experts who facilitate the ways to help these people.
