1300unattended children were adopted by applicant families in current year

Director General for children and adolescent of SWO, Dr. Saeid Babaei during a provincial trip to Ilam stated that around 1300 unattended and without effective caregivers children with directed verdict of court were adopted by applicant families in current year. He made remark that in recent years a lot of eligible applicants have referred to welfare organizations centers to take the guardianship of these children, meanwhile the main conditions of SWO to facilitate the process of child adoption are couple's health and their financial ability to take care of these children in alternative families.
